Life transitions can be expected and planned or can come out of the blue. Planned or not, transitions in life can bring up lots of deep fears and inner conflicts. Over the course of a lifetime and during different stages of life, there are many types of changes and transitions that can occur.
Birth – Death
Career – New job, dismissal, retirement
Disability – New condition or chronic
Marriage – Divorce
Children – Having children, blended families, fertility challenges, the “empty nest”
Cultural – Moving, immigrating
